Mission Statement
The mission of the Woodridge Park District is to enhance the quality of life of its residents by providing superior parks, facilities and recreational services in a fiscally responsible manner.
GOAL #1
The Woodridge Park District will provide creative, safe, affordable recreational programs and leisure services to serve the needs of a broad spectrum of its residents.
GOAL #2
The Woodridge Park District will structure itself to exemplify responsive, effective, efficient governance and management.
GOAL #3
The Woodridge Park District will work to achieve its mission in a fiscally responsible manner.
GOAL #4
The Woodridge Park District will develop an effective system of communication and cooperation with other community service providers to facilitate joint activities and programs avoiding where possible duplication of effort.
GOAL #5
The Woodridge Park District will enact a community relations program designed to increase public support, promote the wise use of leisure time, and generally enhance a sense of community.
GOAL #6
The Woodridge Park District will promote a compelling and safe workplace, employ the most competent staff possible, equip staff with necessary technology, equipment, & supplies to perform essential job duties, and provide continuing education & training opportunities to further develop compelling programs and services.
GOAL #7
The Woodridge Park District will provide a system of safe, accessible, well-maintained parks, facilities, and equipment of exceptional quality appropriate to its area of service.
