“Building on Our Dream” Photography Contest Winners Announced
February 15, 2010 - Woodridge residents captured the excitement of the 2009 Woodridge Park District and Village of Woodridge anniversaries by submitting photos to the “Building on Our Dream” photography contest.
The winners of each category are as follows:
Henry Ristic, photo of Woodridge Mayor William F. Murphy for “People of Woodridge”
Henry Ristic, photo of Kagann Plaza Dedication for “Community Events”
Becky Carlson, photo of Community Center for “Places in Woodridge”
Henry Ristic, photo of Lake Harriet for “Nature/Landscape/Trees”
Fifteen entries were received and were judged by Woodridge Park District staff and members of the “Building on Our Dream” anniversary committee. The winning photos are currently on display at the Woodridge Park District Community Center and Woodridge Village Hall.
