Woodridge Resident Fulfills Eagle Scout Project at Village Greens
Woodridge resident Justin Grecco was recognized at the December Woodridge Park District board meeting for fulfilling an Eagle Scout project at Village Greens of Woodridge Golf Course and attaining the highest advancement rank available in the Boy Scouts of America.

Prescribed Burns To Be Conducted through April
The Woodridge Park District will conduct prescribed burns in parks and properties this fall and spring.

ARC Construction Activity in Full Swing in September and Continues Through the Fall
The following work was completed at the ARC site during the month of September, is currently in progress, or scheduled for completion within the next several weeks:

Splash Pad is Closed for the Season
The Hobson Corner Park Splash Pad closed for the season on October 1 and will re-open in May 2016.

Athletic Recreation Center (ARC) Phase 2 Debt Certificate Financing Issued
The Woodridge Park District went to market on the sale of the Phase 2 financing for the Athletic Recreation Center (ARC) on August 19, 2015 and is pleased to report the District sold its Debt Certificates to yield an average 4.28%.

Park District Maintains Standard & Poorís AA- / Stable Outlook Bond Rating for Athletic Recreation Center (ARC) 2015 Debt Certificates

Village Greens Assistant Golf Pro Recognized for Volunteer Efforts
Prince Winbush won the Virtuous Volunteer Award at the 2015 South East Association for Special Parks and Recreation's Believe and Achieve annual banquet.

Seven Bridges Park Playground Now Open
The playground at Seven Bridges Park was closed July 22-28 in order to replace the playground surfacing and is now open.

ARC Construction Contracts Approved
The WPD Board of Park Commissioners recently approved all remaining construction projects for the ARC project.
