The Woodridge Park District extends our heartfelt sympathies to those impacted by last night’s tornado. Park District staff has been and will continue to assist Village of Woodridge crews with clearing streets in order to make them passible for neighborhood residents and EMS. Preliminary assessment of park property and facilities determined that there was no damage to any facility buildings and a majority of park damage was limited to the destruction of mature trees at Ide’s Legacy, Ide’s Grove West and Ide’s Grove East Parks. The Park District will continue to assist the Village where needed.
