Totschool Teacher Bios
a   Amelia A. Lozano

Amelia is the Totschool Supervisor and brings over 29 years of experience to the Woodridge Park District. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Education from Lewis University and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University. Amelia’s passion for teaching is evident not only at the Park District, but in all facets of her life. In addition to teaching children in Woodridge, she also acts as the Sunday School Director at Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church in Westchester. Amelia and her husband live in Woodridge and have five children and two grandchildren.  Outside of Totschool, Amelia enjoys reading, movies, traveling and spending time with family.

a   Lisa Oskorep

Lisa received a degree in Elementary Education from Loyal University and has been teaching Totschool students for four years. She considers herself lucky to have a job she truly loves. Lisa resides in Woodridge with her husband and three children. In addition to teaching, she loves to read, spend time outdoors and participating in creative activities.


a   Cindi Bielawa

Cindi initially began teaching at Totschool as a substitute teacher and was hired in 2016 as a permanent teacher. She loves teaching children and enjoys their energy and fun personalities. Cindi previously taught preschool in Downers Grove, was a Girl Scout leader for six years and was very active in her children’s school PTO. Prior to moving to Woodridge 24 years ago, Cindi lived in Fort Worth, Texas, where she attended Tarrant County College. Her and her husband have been married or 29 years and have a son and daughter.

a   Adrienne Romack

Adrienne has worked with children for more than 15 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education (K-12) and is certified as an early intervention provider. Prior to joining the Totschool team, she worked as a hearing itinerant teacher and provided developmental therapy. Adrienne loves to learn and enjoys every aspect of teaching. She has two young children who she enjoys spending time with making art and crafts, listening to music and riding bikes.

a   Cheryl Lang

Cheryl is in her fifth year teaching at Totschool and her first year teaching the new four-day class for four-year-olds. She previously worked as a nanny and a teacher at St. Joan of ARC and KinderCare, and also volunteered with the Girl Scouts of America. Cheryl resides in Woodridge with her husband and three children, two of whom are Totschool alumni. She and her family enjoy spending their summers together at Jelly Stone Campground.


a   Anne Rossi

Anne received her teaching degree from Eastern Illinois University and a reading endorsement from Governors State University. Her teaching history includes Title 1 Reading and Math for grades K-6. This is Anne’s second year as a Totschool teacher and her favorite part of teaching young children is when a child understands a new concept and expresses their excitement to learn more. Anne and her husband live in Downers Grove, have three sons and enjoy family vacations during the summer.

a   Estelle Callaghan

This is Estelle’s second year teaching Totschool. She believes teaching is one of the most rewarding and challenging professions, which is what motivated her to receive a K-9 Elementary Teaching Certificate after completing her education in Speech Pathology. Estelle has been married for 28 years and has two sons and a Golden Retriever. She enjoys exercise, long walks with her dog and spending time with family and friends.

a   Christine Andrews

Christine received her Early Childhood degree from Triton College and has brings over 25 years of teaching experience to Totschool. Her favorite part of teaching is witnessing a child’s reaction after they accomplish a new skill. She has lived in Woodridge with her husband and cat for 14 years. When she’s not teaching, Christine enjoys spending time with her family.
