Living with Wildlife

The Woodridge Park District strives to educate residents on how to live in harmony with the wildlife native to our area. Whether it is fox, coyote, hawks, or geese, the number of wild animals in our area is vast. Expert resources in our area have compiled useful information for homeowners to learn more about the wildlife habitat/behaviors along with useful tips to protect their families and pets.

The Village of Woodridge Police Department is responsible for animal control within the Village for all domestic animals. Local wildlife is the responsibility of the property owner, unless the animal is a public health threat. If you observe any wild animal behaving in a threatening manner, please dial 9-1-1.
