Celebrate Woodridge!Kidz Squad - Where Kidz rule before and after school

2019 is a milestone year for the Woodridge community! The Woodridge Park District is celebrating its 50th anniversary and the Village of Woodridge is celebrating its 60th anniversary. Celebrate with us at the end of September with three exciting anniversary events!

Friday, September 27 & Saturday, September 28 evenings: Oktoberfest

Saturday, September 28: Watch the anniversary parade starting at 9:00 am, with a route that begins near the Village Hall (click here to see parade route map)

Sunday, September 29 from 12:00-5:00 pm: Indian Summer Festival

Purchase between August 26-September 25 at the ARC or Community Center to save $5 per ticket.


The following merchandise will be available for purchase on-site while supplies last:

  • "I Heart Woodridge" t-shirts: $12
  • Commemorative German hats with buttons: $10
  • Woodridge Oktoberfest beer stein (in addition to the stein you receive as part of fest admission): $5

Event FAQ

  • All ticket sales are final and no refunds will be given.

  • Woodridge Oktoberfest is an adult environment, but kids are welcome to enjoy the music, food and limited selection of soft drinks and water. Children under the age of 1 are free of charge.

  • No pets, bikes, weapons, coolers or outside food/beverages are allowed in the event.

  • Alcoholic beverages are not permitted to leave the fenced-in event area.

  • Portable chairs are allowed as a limited amount of seating will be available.

  • Bike racks are located near the entrance of Cypress Cove.

  • Parking will be available at Cypress Cove, Orchard Hill Park and the ARC.

  • ATM machine will be available on site.

  • Woodridge Oktoberfest is hosted by the Woodridge Park District and Village of Woodridge as part of our milestone anniversaries.
