Youth & Adult Recreation Sports Update
The District has received updates from the Governor’s Office for all youth and adult recreation sports with new guidelines that go into effect August 15th. District staff is evaluating the impact of the revised IDPH/DCEO guidelines on fall sports programs and will update the community here on the District’s website as soon as possible.
Hobson Corner Park Splash Pad and Tennis/Pickleball Courts Are Now Open
The splash pad is open daily from 9 AM - 7 PM and the tennis and pickleball courts are open from sunrise until 10 PM with lights available for evening play.
Ide’s Grove West Development Project Underway; Park is Closed During Construction
When it opens this fall, the new Ide's Grove West Park will include 2-5 year old and 5-12 year old composite playgrounds with swings, a zip line, hillside slides, a shelter, seating areas, a drinking fountain, accessible walks connecting neighborhoods to the park and existing bike paths.

Passing of Robert Kaczmarek, Friend of the Park District
It is with great sadness to recently learn of the passing of our friend and former co-worker, Robert Kaczmarek, who worked for the Woodridge Park District for over 30 years.
Park Mowing Status – Record Rainfall (AGAIN) Continues to Hinder Maintenance Operations
For the fourth year in a row we’ve experienced record rainfall. The District respectfully asks for residents’ patience as Maintenance Crews strive to catch up on mowing, weeding and various maintenance tasks throughout the parks.
2020 Woodridge Jubilee Cancelled Due to COVID-19
We are heartbroken to share the news that the COVID-19 pandemic has forced the cancellation of the 2020 Woodridge Jubilee, originally scheduled for June 17 – June 21.
