See Something, Say Something: Reminder About 9-1-1 and the Woodridge Police Department

The Woodridge Park District partners with the Woodridge Police Department to help keep our parks, facilities, and paths safe for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re visiting a playground, walking a trail, or attending a program, your safety is always our top priority.

If you see something unusual, unsafe, or concerning in a Park District park, facility, or path—such as suspicious activity, vandalism, or unsafe behavior—you should call 9-1-1 immediately, even if it’s not an emergency in the traditional sense. The Woodridge Police Department handles both emergency and non-emergency calls through the 9-1-1 system, ensuring that the right help can be dispatched quickly.

By making the call, you’re helping protect our community spaces and the people who enjoy them. Your timely report could prevent accidents, discourage crime, and maintain the welcoming environment we all value.

Remember: If you see something, say something—call 9-1-1. Together, we can keep Woodridge parks safe, enjoyable, and inviting for all.
