Woodridge Community Garden Plots Unavailable in 2024 & 2025
Due to the construction of a new, relocated garden plot area as part of the Town Centre Phase 2 project, Woodridge Park District Community garden plot rentals will be unavailable in 2024 and 2025.
Thanks to an agreement with the Downers Grove Park District, 2023 Woodridge Park District garden plot renters were able to take advantage of Downers Grove Park District resident rates in 2024 at the Mar-Duke Farm garden plots, located at 6800 S. Main Street, between Greenbriar Medical Center and Divine Savior Church. Proof of your Woodridge garden plot rental in 2023 will be provided by the Woodridge Park District and required by the Downers Grove Park District in order to rent a garden plot at the Downers Grove Park District resident rates.
In 2024, the Downers Grove Mar-Duke Farm garden plots cost $50 for a full plot (20’ x 30’) and $40 for a half plot (20’ x 15’) and were available for rent in March 2024. The current Woodridge Community Garden Plots will be relocated to the Town Centre site, as part of the proposed Town Centre Phase 2 Community Park Development project, which will also include the following:

- Relocated Mulch Bins
- Parking
- Access Drive

The bid release for the Town Centre Phase 2 project is tentatively scheduled in Winter 2024, with anticipated ground breaking in Spring/Summer 2024 pending approval of necessary permits and satisfactory project bid results within budget. Click here to learn more about the Town Centre project.
