Keeping You Safe

Governor Pritzker approved Executive Order 2021-20 on Thursday, August 26th requiring a state-wide, mandatory mask mandate to be reinstated beginning Monday, August 30th for all indoor public facilities in the State of Illinois. Per this State order, participants ages 2 and older must wear face coverings while indoors at a Woodridge Park District facility at all times including while participating in a sport or exercising at the fitness center. “Safety First” is a core value of the Woodridge Park District and the District continues to follow all local, state and federal COVID-19 safety guidelines and mandates.

Individuals should consider wearing a mask in crowded outdoor settings and for activities that involve close contact with others who are not fully vaccinated. The District asks that all those in attendance at outdoor events be respectful of those around them and practice physical distancing.

Details of the Restore Illinois plan as well as the latest mitigation and mandate information can be found on the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) website at www.dph.illinois.gov.
