Hearts for Heroes Luminary Walk

Show your appreciation for our heroes and enjoy a luminated walk on the Friday before Valentine’s Day! Park at the Fred C. Hohnke Community Center and follow the illuminated path full of paper lanterns to Lake Harriet.

Want to dedicate a luminary bag to your favorite hero? Luminary bags can be picked up at the ARC front desk to decorate with markers, stickers, paint with a shout-out to your child’s teacher, a healthcare worker or anyone who is a hero in your life. Please return the bags by 6:00 PM on Thursday, February 25 to be included in the walk (while supplies last). If you would like to keep your bag to display at your home, please pick it up at the end of the event.
