Indian Summer Fest took on a new name, look and date, but will continue to be held at Castaldo Park and feature many of the same family-friendly activities including the build-your-own scarecrow! Check back in September for a complete list of events.

Connie Ogasawara of Woodridge is an avid gardener. She has been using a unique garden technique of growing vegetables in straw bales. Connie will give a presentation on her experience using straw bales as soil! Meeting/presentation is open to the public.

The Woodridge Park District and Woodridge Public Library are teaming up to bring you and your 2-10 year old Stories in the Park! Bring a blanket or chair and listen to stories and songs and make a craft about the story (crafts are while supplies last). Theme is Halloween.
