From outdoor adventures to indoor activities, Adventure Camp has something for every kid entering 1st-5th grade. Campers will participate in sports, games, crafts, canoeing, swimming at Cypress Cove and weekly field trips and should bring a sack lunch, water bottle, additional snack and swimming items to camp every day. Parents should drop off and pick up campers at the ARC, 8201 S. Janes Avenue, Woodridge.
*Campers are to wear their camp shirts on all field trip days. Cypress Cove is NOT a field trip and campers do not need to wear their camp shirt for Cypress Cove days.
Before and After Camp
Does your camper need to start or end their day earlier and/or later? If your child is registered for Adventure Camp or Trek & Travel Camp they are eligible to register for Before and After Camp which allows them to attend extended hours in the morning or evening. During this extended time, campers will participate in a variety of on-site activities lead by our counselors. Registration must be completed the Tuesday before your child begins camp. Full payment is due at the time of registration. Until registration, payment, and all forms are received and processed, children will not be allowed to participate in camp programs. Registration for Before Camp and/or After Camp after the posted deadline will be subject to a $5 late fee per child.
REGISTRATION, REQUIRED CAMP FORMS, AND PARENT MANUAL
Registration must be completed the Tuesday before your child begins camp. Full payment is due at the time of registration. Once completed, you will receive an email invitation to ePACT Network. Camp forms, waivers, and the Parent Manual will be provided through ePACT Network. All forms and waivers must be completed through ePACT by the Thursday before your child is scheduled to begin camp. Until registration, payment, and all forms are received and processed, children will not be allowed to participate in camp programs. Registration for Adventure Camp after the posted deadline will be subject to a $20 late fee per child. T-shirts will be distributed to campers once camp begins (prior to their first field trip).
refund & switch policy
A full refund, less a $5 administrative fee per program, per child, and/or to switch from one week in to another, will only be granted if it is submitted prior to the registration deadline. For example, if your child is scheduled to begin camp on Monday, June 6, the registration deadline for this program is on Tuesday, May 31. If you submit a refund request for this program on Wednesday, June 1, you will not be eligible for a refund. If you submit your refund request prior to the deadline, then you may be eligible.
No refund will be granted after the first day of each camp week with the exception of a written medical excuse from your doctor prior to the completion of the camp week. We do not prorate program fees for participants.
Participants will be responsible for any pre-purchased expenses as well as administrative fees, per program. There is a $5.00 administrative fee per week/per program. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. If you registered for all 10 weeks and received a discount, but wish to withdraw from a week then the discount will be null and void. You will be responsible for paying the full amount for each registered week.
