March 14, 2017- Village Greens Golf Course has teamed up with the Youth on Course organization to offer $5 rounds of golf for children. Youth ages 6-18 can register through the Youth on Course website to obtain a membership card and play for $5 on weekdays and after 2:00 p.m. on weekends at Village Greens.
“Partnering with Youth on Course was a perfect opportunity for Village Greens to provide an economical way for children to learn how to play golf; a game that they can play for a lifetime and teaches honesty, integrity, character, and dedication,” said Brandon Evans, Head Golf Professional at Village Greens.
Village Greens offers a variety of programs and leagues for youth. 1,000 First Swings allows children to use special clubs made just for kids and a bucket of balls for the driving range at no charge with an accompanying adult. Additionally, the PGA Jr. Golf League is hosted at Village Greens in the spring and summer each year.
