Prince Winbush is more than just an Assistant Golf Pro; he is an accomplished golf instructor and a generous volunteer with 35 years of experience in the golf industry. Prince handles the day-to-day operations of Village Greens Golf Course, including staffing, scheduling, inventory, and payables. In addition, he coaches the Village Greens’ PGA Junior Golf teams, teaches Get Golf Ready adult clinics, and gives dozens of private lessons each year. Prince has been recognized for his charitable work with SEASPAR and the Sunshine through Golf Foundation, where he coaches and assists adults and children with special needs in learning the game of golf.
Prior to his golf career, Prince served eight years in the United States Navy in the submarine service as a Nuclear Power Machinist Mate. He also worked for M&M Mars and made the very first Snickers miniature bar.
Some of Prince’s hobbies include golfing, bowling, reading and traveling. He is the proud father of three grown children and grandfather of two grandchildren.
