June 7, 2017 – When you visit Cypress Cove Family Aquatic Park this summer and notice how pristine the water and facility are, you can thank Carlos Ocampo! Carlos is the Aquatic Maintenance Supervisor for the Woodridge Park District. He has been with the District for 18 years and is responsible for the maintenance operations at the water park. During the summer, Carlos ensures the water quality is balanced so it is safe for both the patrons and the equipment. Before the park opens for the summer, Carlos rebuilds motors and pumps, and paints and landscapes the facility.
Carlos is on-call 24/7 during the busy summer months, but in the offseason Carlos enjoys running, sailing, backpacking and dancing.
