July 5, 2017 – Since starting at the Woodridge Park District in August 2016 to oversee the KIDZ Squad program, Sarah Porter has taken on several additional job responsibilities to accommodate the increased activity at the ARC and the growing youth community in Woodridge. Sarah now oversees birthday parties and the KIDZ Club program at the ARC in addition to the before and after school care program. Before she began at the WPD as the Recreation Coordinator, she previously worked for Elmhurst, Wheeling, Arlington Heights and Westmont park districts. She enjoys working with children and the community so the park and recreation field was a natural career choice for her. When she’s not at work Sarah enjoys shopping, cooking and baking new foods, and spending time with her family, friends and dogs.
