Ashley Rowden will celebrate her one-year anniversary with the Woodridge Park District this month, but she has been a Woodridge Park District resident for most of her life.
As the Customer Service Supervisor, Ashley acts as the liaison between customers and park district staff, and oversees the customer service team and rentals of the program rooms at the ARC. Before starting at the park district she worked for the YMCA for 18 years in a variety of roles including a Skate Park Attendant, Building Supervisor, Membership Service Staff and the Membership Director. She also worked for the Village of Downers Grove as a Finance Specialist for a few years. Ashley describes the park district residents she regularly sees as part of her extended family. She enjoys keeping up with news of their families and learning about their backgrounds.
When Ashley is not at the ARC or the Community Center, you can find her with her husband, Mike, at a sporting event, an auction or flea market or spending time with family and friends. She is an avid Blackhawks, Cubs and Bears fan and a self-described history and political science dork as she enjoys learning about different cultures and countries.
