July 27, 2018 – Beginning Monday, July 30, portions of the Woodridge Park District Community Center parking lot will be closed for sealcoating of the asphalt pavement. During this time, patrons are asked to park on the opposite side of the lot where work is in progress or along Carleton Drive to the east. Sealcoating of the parking lot is scheduled to be completed within the week.
Also beginning Monday, sections of the bike path will also be sealcoated. The sections being sealcoated will be roped off accordingly at their access points. The paths being sealcoated include sections between Woodridge Drive and Meadowview School as well as between Janeswood Drive and the Village IV Clubhouse.
As part of the District’s Capital Replacement Program all asphalt pavement is maintained by sealcoating on a four-year cycle.
