Daniel Stadler joined the Woodridge Park District team in July 2017 as the Landscape Specialist, but it wasn’t his first experience with the District. He worked with the Park District’s Planning, Development and Natural Resource Department in 2016 on the Hawthorne Hill Woods Woodland Restoration Management project while he was employed by Homer Environmental.
As the Park District’s Landscape Specialist, Daniel is responsible for maintaining landscape beds and natural areas, plant and tree installation, tree removal, mulching, hedging, edging, watering, herbicide application and tree pruning. He enjoys working outdoors and with his hands. Daniel’s favorite part about working for the Park District is being able to see the trees he plants flourish in the parks.
Daniel recently married his high school sweetheart, Iris, who he has been with since 2009. As a huge football and Chicago Bears fan, Daniel is very involved in fantasy football and plays on a flag football team called “The Crimson Chins”.
