Chris Webber: Someone You Should Know

September 7, 2018 – When Chris Webber started with the Woodridge Park District in April 2017 as the Superintendent of Finance, Personnel & IT, he brought a wealth of financial knowledge from both local government agencies and private companies. In his current role at the District, Chris is responsible for the overall administration and management of finance, accounting, human resources management and information technology systems management. Ultimately, he ensures that District finances are being spent responsibly and within budget guidelines.

Chris applied for his current position after hearing great things about working in the park and recreation field, specifically Woodridge. He believes the District’s work, as well as his department’s, provides an amazing service to the residents and is proud to call the Woodridge Park District his place of employment.

When Chris is not at work, you can find him on the baseball field. Chris has been a baseball coach for 11 years and played in two NCAA Division III College World Series while he attended Aurora University. He and his wife of almost five years have a tight-knit, blended family, which consists of an 18-year old stepson, a 17-year old daughter and a 15-year old son.
