July 15, 2019- In an effort to minimize the opportunity for weed growth, staff is in the process of completing a landscape renovation project at Ide’s Legacy Park. The renovation includes reducing the landscape bed sizes, as well as converting many large native landscape beds to turf. Due to the extreme heat, the project renovation will be on pause until weather permits hydroseeding the site (expected in August). In the meantime, staff will be treating the site for weeds. This fall, when weather is more suitable, there will be some additional plant transplants and additions to complete this park renovation. Thank you for your patience.
