Since starting at his job at Village Greens of Woodridge 22 years ago, Golf Manager and Head Golf Professional Brandon Evans hasn’t had a bad day at work. “There aren’t too many professions in which 99% of your clientele are genuinely excited to come to your place of business,” said Brandon. He knows how priceless recreation and family time is for most people, and that’s why he really enjoys creating programs and opportunities for people to be able to maximize both.
Brandon is responsible for all aspects of the golf operation at Village Greens and ensuring that all 40,000 guests who visit the golf course each year have a great experience. Prior to Woodridge, Brandon worked as an Apprentice Golf Pro at Cress Creek Country Club and Cantigny Golf, and as an Assistant Golf Professional at Hunters Run Country Club in Florida and St. Charles Country Club.
When he’s not working at the course, Brandon spends his time with his wife, who is a physician in Woodridge, and their 3 children. He coaches his son’s basketball team and his daughter’s softball team, in addition to eight junior golf teams at Village Greens. Brandon gets extremely jealous every time someone makes a hole-in-one at Village Greens, because he has yet to get one himself.
