Based on Illinois Governor JB Pritzker’s news conference held today, Friday, January 15th, Region 7 (Will County) and Region 8 (DuPage County) will remain under the current Tier 3 Mitigations; therefore, the District will continue to follow the Tier 3 Mitigations issued by the state.
As a result of the announcement and the unstable conditions of COVID-19, and considering the administrative burden of constantly revising program offerings, the District is taking a conservative approach to the winter 2021 season by delaying the start of programs to February 15th. The Winter 2021 Activity E-guide is currently being revised and registration for those programs will begin on Wednesday, February 3rd. Programs that are able to meet under Tier 3 Mitigations, for example, Totschool; KIDZ Squad; First Steps; Lunch Buddies; virtual programs; ARC fitness and track use (by reservation), one-on-one training, etc., will continue to operate as scheduled.
