The District has seen an increase of illegal dumping in our parks over the last few months. The Woodridge Park District would like to remind the general public that the dumping/disposal of trash not generated from park use, household items, contractor supplies and other debris in Park District garbage cans or onto Park District grounds is a violation of the District’s regulations ordinance. Not only is the removal and disposal of debris costly and time consuming, but the overflowing garbage cans are unsightly and can attract unwanted critters. Violators who are caught dumping can be fined $30 per occurrence. Please help us keep our park trash cans functional for park visitors and please report immediately any violators to 911.
